Marketing Automation – workflows that run while you sleep.

Marketing automation is more than email sequences: lead nurturing, re-engagement loops, automated review requests, newsletter pipelines, trigger-based campaigns. We build the workflows that cost you time today and can be automated – with quality gates.

In brief

Marketing automation builds workflows that run while you work: lead flows, follow-ups and recurring tasks run automatically and ensure consistent processes, visibility and inquiries around the clock.

What we typically automate

Eight workflows that save almost any company time

1

Lead Nurturing

Email or messaging sequences that guide new contacts step by step toward an inquiry.

2

Review Requests

Triggered automatically after a service is delivered – by email, SMS or QR code.

3

Re-Engagement

Reactivate inactive contacts after 30/60/90 days with fitting content.

4

Onboarding

Guide new customers through the first days – with help content, reminders, success triggers.

5

Cross-Sell Triggers

Suggest fitting follow-up purchases based on buying behavior.

6

Birthday / Anniversary Triggers

Personal touchpoints for special occasions, without anyone reminding by hand.

7

Lead Scoring

Automatic scoring of leads based on behavior – sales only gets the hot ones.

8

Cart Recovery

Recover abandoned carts automatically, without feeling like spam.

Which platforms we work with

Low-code

Make · Zapier · n8n

Visual workflow tools for most automations. Quick to maintain, easy to extend.

CRM-native

HubSpot · Salesforce · Pipedrive

If you have a CRM with an automation module, we use it – no forced migration.

Custom

Python · Node.js

For complex logic at high scale: custom pipelines, on your hosting or ours.

Marketing automation isn't magic – it's the systematic removal of repeatable work. Not less contact with customers, but more time for the contact that really counts.

The Loomup method
Good to know

The key questions, answered briefly

What can marketing automation take over?

Typical use cases are lead nurturing via email sequence, automatic follow-ups, lead scoring, appointment reminders and merging data between tools. Repetitive steps run automatically while the team focuses on strategy and closing.

Is automation worth it for small companies too?

Yes, especially then. Small teams gain back the most time through automation, because recurring tasks fall away. Even simple workflows like automatic follow-ups raise the inquiry rate, without extra staff.

Prioritization

Which automation workflows are worth doing first?

The most impact per effort comes from workflows that recur and feed directly into inquiries. We usually start with these:

Welcome sequence for new leads – automatic, instant.
Lead scoring, so sales only sees qualified contacts.
Follow-up sequences after an inquiry or appointment.
Reactivation of inactive contacts.
Handoffs between tools (form to CRM to notification).
Distinction

Marketing automation or CRM – what's the difference?

A CRM stores contact and sales data, marketing automation acts on it. In practice the two work together: the CRM is the data foundation, the automation triggers emails, tasks and handoffs on that basis. We connect existing CRMs with the right workflows instead of replacing a system.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we need HubSpot or Salesforce?

No, in most cases a lighter CRM or even just a workflow tool is enough. We recommend based on your requirements – without a sales-commission bias.

What happens if the automation makes a mistake?

We build in quality gates: plausibility checks before every send (e.g. 'Did they actually buy?', 'Is the email valid?'). Escalation alerts on anomalies.

Can we maintain the workflows ourselves later?

Yes – we document every workflow thoroughly and train your team. You're not necessarily locked into Loomup maintenance contracts.
