Why is my website slow?

Why is my website slow?

Usually not the server, but avoidable bottlenecks. The most common causes – and what we look at first:

Do we need a new host?

Sometimes – if TTFB is chronically above 1 s. Otherwise caching and CDN optimization usually suffice.

What is INP?

Interaction to Next Paint – it measures how quickly the page responds to clicks. It replaced the older FID metric in March 2024.
