Off-page SEO — authority you don't have to claim yourself.

Backlinks and brand mentions from credible sources are still one of the three most important ranking factors. We build your link profile cleanly — no link networks, no questionable platforms, with the focus on topically relevant and journalistic sources.

  • Digital PR
  • Brand mentions
  • Link risk management
In brief

Off-page SEO builds your domain's authority through external signals — above all through high-quality, topically relevant backlinks. They're a vote of confidence to Google and rank among the strongest ranking factors.

Authority from credible sources

Not volume, but topically relevant links from trade media, studies and PR build lasting authority – for Google and for AI models.

A Backlinko analysis shows: pages ranking first have on average 3.8× more backlinks than the results in position 10. But quality beats quantity — one topically relevant link from a trade publication does more than a hundred generic directory entries.

What we work with — and what we don't

A clear line between best practice and risk

Best practice

Topically relevant mentions

Trade media, industry portals, journalistic sources, study citations, expert comments. These links build both ranking and brand authority.

Best practice

Digital PR & studies

Original studies, data stories or industry insights as a lever for organic mentions — the most sustainable form of link building.

Off-limits

Link networks & PBNs

As a rule, we don't work with private link networks, link-buying platforms or PBNs. The risk of penalties is too high.

Our off-page workflow

Four structured phases

Link-profile audit

A complete analysis of your existing link profile: sources, anchor texts, toxic links. We identify risks and gaps.

Target topics & outreach list

We define the topics relevant to your brand and identify topically relevant media, trade publications and blogs.

Outreach & PR work

Personal outreach, providing data/studies/expertise — we deliver the value instead of "buying" links.

Monitoring & disavow

New links are monitored continuously. Toxic links are devalued via the disavow tool before they can do harm.

Good to know

The key questions, answered briefly

Which backlinks are good, which are harmful?

Good backlinks come from topically relevant, trustworthy sites with real traffic and natural anchor text. Harmful ones are bought bulk links, link farms and irrelevant directories — they risk a Google downgrade. We rely exclusively on sustainable, high-quality link building.

How many backlinks do I need to rank?

There's no fixed number — quality over quantity is decisive. A few strong, relevant links do more than hundreds of weak ones. What matters is how your link profile compares to the competitors currently ranking.

Quality criteria

How do you recognize a high-quality backlink?

Not every link is worth the same. We assess backlinks by these criteria:

CriterionHigh qualityRisk
Relevancetopically fittingoff-topic
Authorityestablished, trustworthy sitelink farm
Trafficreal visitorsdead site
Anchor textnatural, variedover-optimized, exact-match
Placementeditorial, in the contentfooter/sidebar bulk link
Methods

How do you build backlinks sustainably?

By earning them instead of buying them. Proven, risk-free methods:

Link-worthy content: original data, studies, tools.
Digital PR: mentions in trade media and industry portals.
Industry and partner directories with a genuine connection.
Guest posts on topically relevant, reputable sites.

FAQ

Common questions

How many backlinks do you build per month?

We think in quality, not quantity. Realistic and sustainable is 4–12 high-quality links per quarter. We'd rather have 3 mentions in trade media than 30 in irrelevant directories.

Do you guarantee backlinks from specific domains?

No — and no reputable party does. We can do the outreach and deliver value, but the final publication is always the other side's decision. Guarantees are a warning sign.

What do you do with our existing toxic links?

We analyze the link profile, identify risky sources and devalue them via Google's disavow tool. Including a half-yearly re-check.

Is off-page SEO still worth it today?

Yes, and especially with GEO. AI models assess brand authority heavily via mentions in independent sources. Off-page work now affects two channels — classic search and AI answers.
